What made you put your name forth for City Council?

Running for City Council was something that I have wanted to do since I was a young girl. I love Saint John and our residents and I have always seen more potential in the city than we have seen. It has been an honor in my life to represent the residents in this city and I hope to be able to continue the momentum and continue to push the things through that I have gotten on the capital plan (the splash pad and changing rooms/washrooms for the Rez) and add to other priorities that residents have for our city.

How can I contact you?
I think that my greatest strengths have been my relationships that I have built with city staff and communities. I have built trust amongst them and if I have a business case to get something looked at, it is now taken seriously. I know how to get things done and I am highly motivated to continue to deliver results to Ward 4 and the rest of the City of Saint John.
What makes you different?

Hmmm. I don’t know that it makes me different but some things that make me stand out is that I understand what governance is and I have a deep understanding of city plans and responsibilities. I have always lived in the city and have always been committed to running for Ward 4. I love municipal politics and believe in staying committed during my term. I am active business person so I am in the know but also have a schedule that I can adjust to the needs of the community. I have had an outstanding attendance record and I have gone to many events to meet with residents in the city at times that it matters to them. Finally, I know how to govern and get results for tax payers and am committed to doing just that.
